Is the Cub Scout Promise the same as for the old programme and can I still use the Jungle Book story?
What badge will a young person get who joins my Cub Scout Pack from outside Scouting and they complete one year within the Pack?
They will receive a Participation Badge with a number one on it.
Where do the new badges go on the uniform?
There are pictures of where the badges go on the uniforms in the Scouting essentials resource, on the POR CD-ROM and in the library on ScoutBase UK.
Can young people wear all the staged Activity Badges at the same time?
No. Badges are marked 1 to 5. Replace each badge with the next one.
What constitutes a 'Night Away'?
Nights spent away from home in a tent, bivouac, Scout Hut, sleep over, etc.
What happens when Beaver Scouts transfer to Cub Scouts?
They are already members of The Movement, they already have their Membership Badge, they don't have to re-join, they just have to renew The Promise, and work on the Moving-On Award.

They are shown in numbers and there are 5 stages.
Can the Chief Scout's Silver Award be finished off in the Scout Troop?
