Scout Network ... Taking the Lead is designed to help develop leadership skills with members of the Scout Network. It promotes the active participation of members in the Network and increases their participation in decision-making processes both locally and nationally. Most importantly it will help them develop lifelong leadership skills.
Packed with practical ideas, games and excercises to help you bring out the best in Network members, it covers everything from team building and expedition planning to listening skills, running meetings and managing difficult people. There is also a section explaining how Unit members can put their Scouting experience to good use when applying for jobs, college and university places.
