Creative Expression
Scouts enjoy being creative and there are a large number of activities which develop their creative side.
Projects can often take more than one meeting, and some young people may wish to become involved in Group, District or County/Area wide initiatives such as Gang Shows and orchestras.
Benefits of Activities in the Creative Expression Zone
Creative Expression benefits young people by:
- allowing them to develop a useful skill
- allowing them to work as part of a group to develop teamwork skills
- giving them opportunities to try new creative skills
- helping them develop self-confidence.
Linking Challenge Award
The Creative Challenge links with the Creative Expression Programme Zone.
Scouts can select three areas from six to explore their creative side through performing, crafts, promotions, problem solving, construction and worship.
