Additional Notes:
The site is part of the Mersey Valley and Red Rose environmental parks and has an abundance of wildlife and extensive river walks. The headquarters can be used for Training Courses and as sleeping accommodation although no beds are provided, in addition the Headquarters buildings provides for emergency indoor cub camp sleeping area.
The site is ideally situated for Manchester City Centre and the host of tourist attractions the city benefits from. The commonwealth Games stadium is located approximately 10 miles away.
