Party in the Park!

On Sunday 6th and Saturday 12th of November, Chessington World of Adventures will be opening its doors to welcome Scouts and Guides from all over the UK for this year's new exclusive theme park event!

A day of adventure and fun for everyone is on offer, at the special reduced ticket price of £16 for adults (12+) and £13 for children (4-11). Your Group will enjoy the rides and attractions that Chessington has to offer, in a safe and friendly environment.

Visitors can head straight for Land of the Dragons, where the Dragons Fury roller coaster has a fantastic spin in its tail, or come face-to-face with some amazing animals in Animal Land. Meet one of Europe's most successful lowland gorilla families, and three Asiatic lion cubs born in May 2004!

After the tremendous success of last year's event, The Gimmie 5 Challenge will be taking place again in 2006, from 18-26 March, and this year there are some more great challenge ideas to inspire you!

The Gimmie 5 Challenge is a fantastic fundraising initiative that has been created between The Scout Association, and WWF, the global conservation organisation. All money raised will be split equally between The Scout Association's World Friendship Appeal, which provides financial assistance for Scouts from around the world to attend the Centenary World Scout Jamboree, and WWF's international projects which protect habitats and rare and endangered species. Groups that take part can also keep 25% of the money they raise!
