What is the International Friendship Group Award all about?

The aims of the IFGA are to:

  • Promote international activities for each Section and worthwhile projects for members who are in Explorer Section or Scout Network.

  • Promote activities between Sections.

  • Support the international focus in the Programme.

  • Ensure there is a positive influence on everyone taking part.

  • Have a long-term benefit for people living in other countries.

The IFGA provides opportunities to be involved with other organisations and agencies. There is also the chance to promote international awareness and activities across all Sections. Remember that all Sections have a Programme Zone with an international theme.
