Eurosource

Recycle and raise cash for your Group!

Eurosource is a recycling company that can provide an easy way to generate extra funds for your group. More than 1,300 Scout Groups have registered with this scheme already! Start collecting your mobile phones and printer ink cartridges to raise your Group some money. £5 can be raised for mobile phones and up to £7 for cartridges! Windsor Appeal

Get your name on the Roll of Honour

This is an appeal launched by The Chief Scout, George Purdy CBE, for raising fund for St George's Chapel, Windsor. It is aimed at everyone who has gained either the King's Scout or the Queen's Scout Award and also those who may have received an Award for Good Service.

If you would like details of the Appeal please telephone the Scout Information Centre (0845 300 1818) for an appeal leaflet. You can also email to info.centre@scout.org.uk for details and make a contribution on-line at www.sbuk.org.uk/donations/windsor.php Every contribution will receive a small certificate, a letter of thanks from the Chief Scout and their name on the role of honour at St George's Chapel.

Is your Group located close to an airport?

This trust has been set up by BAA plc and assists projects that develop educational opportunities. Areas that can benefit are local communities around the following airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Southampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Applications should be in writing to the Community Relations Manager at Gatwick, Heathrow, Southampton and Stansted airports (check websites for individual addresses).

The Community Foundation in Wales

Capital, start-up and project support grants

The Community Foundation in Wales supports charitable purposes for the benefit of communities within Wales. Projects that provide a worthwhile service to the community, such as voluntary groups working with children, are invited to apply. Initial enquiries by telephone or letter and application forms and guidelines will then be provided.
