Fundraise while you shop!

The Webb Ivory Fundraising catalogue has been used by Scout groups for over 30 years. The 244-page catalogue is packed full of value for money gift ideas and novelties including Christmas essentials like wrapping paper, cards and decorations. Better Play Award Scheme

This is a partnership between Barnardo's and the Children's Play Council, funded by the New Opportunities Fund. Better Play would like to fund community and voluntary organisations that provide play servcies and opportunities for children aged 5-16 year olds only. The project will need to be inclusive of disabled individuals and the wider community. Revenue costs can be funded; which include for example, salaries, rent, toys and equipment.

The Wakeham Trust

Small grants for new groups

The Wakeham Trust provides grants to small groups not employing staff, who are just starting up or who are attempting to provide a new community project or activity in a local area. To apply send a letter about your new group and outline what you need funding for. Grants are for £50-500 and applications can be made at anytime.

Football foundation

Grants for football equipment

The Football Foundation makes grants for registered charitable organisations, not-for-profit and educational establishments. Grants could be awarded for Scout Groups for revenue based costs such as football kits and equipment. Applications can be made at anytime and a decision can take up to 5 months.

Fast Track Fund

Grants for immediate training costs

CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) have started to take applications for 2003-04. CAF aims to improve the infrastructure of small to medium sized registered charities. Priority will be given to organisations with incomes less than £50,000 a year. Only one grant application available in one year (between May and April) of up to £600.

The Fast Track Fund will make grants to support immediate training costs only. The focus must be on strengthening the structure of your organisation e.g. financial management, fundraising or training for volunteers.

No application deadlines.
