After the tremendous success of this years event, The Gimmie 5 Challenge will be running again from the 18-26th March 2006. The event raises money for The Scout Association and WWF, the global conservation organisation, and Groups can also keep 25% of the money they raise. The Royal Engineers unit of the TA are looking for projects to test their skills on again this year. They have experience in constructing numerous plant orientated projects including carparks, roads etc. The 75th Engineer Regiment RE (V) is based in Manchester and has squadrons in Liverpool, Walsall and Stoke on Trent. ebay for Charity is an easy way to support charities while buying and selling on eBay. Buyers can bid on eBay for charity items knowing that they are helping a worthy cause and sellers can donate a percentage of their sales to verified charities. Century FM which broadcasts over Greater Manchester supports a charity called Century 21 Kids. This gives grants out to children or youth groups within its broadcast areas.
