After the tremendous success of last year's event, The Gimmie 5 Challenge will be running again from the 18-26th March 2006. The event raises money for The Scout Association and WWF, the global conservation organisation, and Groups can also keep 25% of the money they raise. This appeal has been launched to help Scouts from around the world attend the Centenary World Scout Jamboree in 2007 and will be running throughout 2006. This fund is available for groups working on any community project in Liverpool. Sefton or Wirral. Priority will be given to groups that have unrestricted funds less than £5000, innovative projects and groups that have connection with sea/river. For more information go to www.cfmerseyside.org.uk

IT at affordable prices - The Arthur Rank (Warwickshire based) has entered into partnership with Government Disposal Services Agency to access high quality full refurbished ex-government computer equipment at exceptional prices. For further information contact davidl@rase.org.uk

National Trust is keen to work with local groups for mutual advantage giving educational opportunities to arts, youth or environmental groups. Projects or events may in turn attract funding from elsewhere. For more information email learning@nationaltrust.org.uk
