Sponsorship pages

Welcome to this section which details information about our badge sponsors and the resources they provide as well as details of the exciting offers we have negotiated for you.

If you have any questions about the information in this section, or any general sponsorship enquiries you can contact us by e-mail - partnership&sponsorship@scout.org.uk or by telephone - 020 8433 7100.

Sponsored badges

All of our activity badges across the sections can be sponsored by organisations. We only work with those we consider as ethical and having a similar vision and values to us. As part of the agreement, the sponsor will have their corporate logo on the badge they are supporting and will also be promoted in Scouting Magazine and our other promotional channels. The aim is to provide brand awareness for the organisation whilst giving our members resources to help gain badges as well as access to competitions and fun days out across the UK.

Research

The Scout Association recently appointed MORI to conduct a survey to examine the attitudes of adults aged 15 and over about their awareness of Scouting, its appeal to parents and young people and its relationship with commercial organisations. The objectives of the research were to assist The Scout Association's new communications strategy and to provide benchmarking data that can be tracked to monitor any changes in perception overtime and ultimately, the success of the new strategy.

You can view the topline results of the survey (This is a 1.2MB Microsoft Powerpoint presentation.

You can view the press release, sent to regional, national and trade press on Thursday 4th September 2003.
