The Scout Association has been invited by the World Scout Committee to lead and co-ordinate some exciting work which will help develop youth participation in decision-making in Scouting at all levels, including World and European.

A small volunteer Working Group is producing material which will be offered for the comment of National Scout Organisations (NSOs). This will be shared by e-mail.

The support of a volunteer translator is invited to enable the production of French editions of communication, and to translate into English any replies received in French. This project will last until Spring 2002. The translator will have a sporadic workload during that time. Liaison will be through Headquarters (not direct with all NSOs). E-mail will be the principle vehicle for contact.
