Joint Scout and Guide/Guide and Scout Groups are recognised and supported by The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK.

Joint Groups should be registered with each Association simultaneously and be fully integrated into the normal District, Division and County structures.

The registration of existing and new Joint Groups require the approval of the relevant Commissioners of both Associations.

The detailed operating arrangements for Joint Groups are a matter for local agreement.

Each unit within the Group should follow the relevant Association's member programme for the Section.
