Rule 3.29: Warranted Appointments

  1. Warranted Appointments are made by Headquarters following a local recommendation by the person or body specified in the table below.

  1. No recommendation may be made to Headquarters until the District Commissioner is satisfied that:

    • any consultation or approval required for the appointment (see table below) has been undertaken or obtained

    • a satisfactory final response from Headquarters to the Personal Enquiry has been received

    • the relevant Getting Started modules have been completed

    • a Personal Learning Plan has been produced

  1. Warrants will be dated by Headquarters from the date requested by the Scout District.
