Before any Member of the Movement proceeds on to any private, civil or Service airfield the permission of the controlling body of the airfield must be obtained.
Any individual or party must be briefed about:
the general layout of the airfield, with special reference to runways in use, taxiing areas, glider launching and cable dropping areas plus safe areas for spectators;
the hazards of jet intakes and exhausts, propellers, ejection seats, explosive canopies, glider cables, paragliding lines and aviation fuels.
The above rules do not apply when visits to civil airports are confined to the spectators' enclosure or to Service establishments on an open day when using public enclosures.
