When the insignia of a Scout award or decoration is not worn with uniform, it is represented by an emblem having a knot design in appropriate colours.

The award of a Bar to any award or decoration is indicated on the emblem by the arrowhead badge superimposed over the centre of the knot design.

The arrowhead is green for the Bar to the Silver Acorn and Long Service Decoration, and gold for all other awards.

All awards are accompanied by a certificate.
