Section Leaders, working with Assistant Leaders and Section Assistants, are responsible for the detailed programme of individual Colonies, Packs, Troops and Explorer Scout Units.

Leaders should take account of the special needs of individual Members, the Balanced Programme, Activity and other badges where appropriate, and the Section's method as outlined in current Section Handbooks.

Attention must be paid to the requirements of safety and to any Rules governing activities.
