POR: Chapter 5: The Scout County

Rule 5.48: Funds administered by the Scout Network, Scout Fellowships and other Scout Sections in the County

  1. Any other County approved activity that is not an independent charity (eg the Scout Network, a County Scout Fellowship, Campsite, Badge Secretary) must itself administer sums allocated to it by the County Executive Committee.

  1. Subscriptions paid by Members of any Scout Fellowship, the Scout Network or other activity within a Scout County or on their behalf must be handed to the County Treasurer or their nominee as soon as possible after receipt.

  1. The County Treasurer should make the necessary records and pay the money into the County bank account(s) as soon as practicable.

  1. The Scout Network, Scout Fellowship or other activity must keep a proper cash account which must be produced, together with supporting vouchers and the cash balance, to the County Treasurer at least once in each period of three months.
