SKY High 1999 was open to all Scouts and held at RAF Barkston Heath, Lincolnshire, over the weekend of 10/11 July. It combined parascending experience flights for all Scouts and the Scout National Parascending Championships. Scouts attending came from Derbyshire, Cheshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Humberside, Nottinghamshire, Merseyside, South Gloucestershire, Wimbledon and Epsom. They camped at the beautiful Dukes Covert site which belongs to Grantham Scout District. There were about 130 Scouts and 90 Parascenders taking part. These included the Lincolnshire Scout Fellowship Parascending Club, Central Yorkshire Scouts, Kent Scouts, Staffordshire Scouts and Bollington.
