Adult Groups in Adventurous Activities

Introduction

This scheme for Adult Groups in Adventurous Activities was launched in September 2003 for implementation locally before May 2004. It is based around the concept that adults have the ability to give informed consent to take part in adventurous activities, and is hoped that it will encourage more adult members to continue their participation in adventurous activities within Scouting. The scheme is support by factsheet FS120087 Adult Groups in Adventurous Activities, and a guidance card. These are available to download below.

Guidance Card

This guidance card forms part of the overall scheme. The card can be ordered free of charge from the Scout Information Centre, or downloaded if you require a paper copy, and used when undertaking an activity under these rules.
