Train the Trainer

Following a successful course at Sheffield Trippet Lane on 26/09/09; there are 2 more dates for an upcoming course:

  • Saturday 15th May, Northern England - possibly Brough/Penrith area (venue TBC)

After February 2010, all trainers must be Accredited Assessors. Please do not apply for a course until you have received Accredited Assessor Status from DofE. If you have any enquiries about this, please contact the Activities Office on 0208 433 7157, or dofe@scout.org.uk.

These courses have been subsidised to enable as many members as possible to attend. There will be a cost of £20 per person; which will cover the cost of course materials, refreshments and lunch. Download an application form here . Applications for courses will close 1 week before the course.

Introduction to the DofE course

Introduction to the DofE course are running across England in different geographical areas (these do not always correspond to Scouting Regions). Please see below for dates and locations:

    Expedition Assessor Accrediation Scheme (EAAS)

    The aim of EAAS is to prepare, train and accredit assessots to undertake expedition assessments. are running across England in different geographical areas (these do not always correspond to Scouting Regions). Please see below for dates and locations:
