25th April - 1st May Save the Children Week During this week the UK's leading international children's charity will highlight the plight of millions of children around the world who live in poverty without access to basic healthcare. The whole month is "Walk in the Woods month" - Why not organise a walk in the woods for your unit especially as Saturday the 8th May is Jamboree on the Trail.

Saturday 8th May is a VERY busy Global day as it is "low Tide Day", "World Fair Trade Day" and "World Red Cross/Red Crescent Day".

Oxfam has launched its first online learning resource, Milking It. This free resource lifts the lid on the complex world of international trade, and shows how unfair trade rules and practices are souring the lives of dairy farmers in two very different countries - Wales and Jamaica.
