There are likely to be various organisations and events in your local area that relate to Commonwealth matters. Check your local paper, posters in the local library ,and the directory of local organisations.

An example of such an event is the Commonwealth Fair which is usually held in Kensington Town Hall in November each year. This is organised by the Commonwealth Countries League and is a friendly and colourful occasion giving an opportunity to buy food, handicrafts, original paintings, clothes and other items (mainly unobtainable in the UK) from all around the Commonwealth.
