There are a number of Scouting based projects in Commonwealth countries which would benefit from your support. A selection are listed here. If you would like to work on supporting one of these projects, or to obtain details of projects in other Commonwealth countries, please check with your ACC/AAC (International) or the International Office at Gilwell Park.

An opportunity to support Kenya Scouts as they prepare for the Centenary of Scouting. They are converting land in the town of Nyeri into a visitor centre for the use of local Scouts and the community as a training centre, while also providing a place for Scouts to stay when visiting the nearby graves of Lord & Lady Baden-Powell.

The Bharat Scouts & Guides provide a service to their communities. Following an education programme, they go into the local area to check for signs of leprosy. This takes great courage, as there are still many misunderstandings about the spread of leprosy.

The Uganda Scout Association is working to help take children off the streets of Kampala. Many of these children are the victims of exploitation - in prostitution, dependent on drugs and solvents, scavenging for their own survival. The Uganda Scouts are hoping to create a home for their Street Scouts and to provide them with the skills they will need for their future lives.

Scouts in Malaysia are trained to deliver the important messages about personal health, and especially sexual health: The Scouts use plays, writing competitions and direct interaction with young people to spread the important messages in the community.
