If the adult is effective in their role, and is still enjoying it, then it is likely that you will agree that the adult will continue in their existing role.
It is then a matter of agreeing how long they will continue for, and what their focus for the coming year should be. You should also discuss any further training or support that can help them grow in this role.
If this meeting is also a formal appointment review, then a recommendation should be made to the Appointments sub-Committee, and Headquarters notified of the final outcome.
